In August 2005 we traveled to San Francisco. It was our first real trip with Graeme, his first plane ride, his first time out of the country, and our first time playing tourist since Australia in 2001. San Francisco has been described by some as the most beautiful city in the United States. As we haven't seen them all yet, who are we to judge? But I'd have to agree that so far it's right up there. It's certainly a good subject for photography.
Visiting Murray was our primary reason for choosing San Francisco over another destination. Admittedly we also wanted an "easy" destination, for Graeme's first explorations into this big world of ours, so SF was perfect. Well, Graeme was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more from the little guy. For someone slightly over 2.5 years old, he was remarkably well behaved, despite being dragged through an assortment of touristy destinations, nice restaurants, late nights, and totally unfamiliar circumstances.
I'll divide the photos into two groupings: "By Day/Event" and "Best Of". If you would prefer not to wade through 300+ photos, try the "Best Of".
