Step 3: Aquire a throwing stick.
Step 4: Disturb the tranquility of the pond by doing what little boys do best.
In the tree, a good distance above the water, was a fishing floater.
Crossing the field, Graeme discovers some kernels that were stripped from their cob, but didn't get collected by the harvester.
We've got to pick-up some of these.

What makes this especially cute is the fact that this is within a few feet of where Daddy watered the ground on our way past, ten minutes ago.
